Roger Abrantes' other books Dog Language and Evolution of Canine Social Behavior are important scientific studies on the unique relationships between dogs and humans and canine body language. Roger Abrantes considers Konrad Lorenz (Man Meets Dog, 1954) one of his mentors. Another very popular book that explores the relationship between man and dog, as do all the books listed above is Culture Clash, by Jean Donaldson.
